Tarremah is a Steiner School. It provides an Early Childhood Centre - Playgroup, Kinder, Prep, Primary School - Years 1-6, Middle School - Year 7 & 8; High School Years 7-9 with Year 10 commencing in 2009. An Outside Schools Hours Childcare Service is also available for children aged 5 to 12 years.

Situated 15 minutes south of Hobart, its architect designed buildings are set in a semi-rural area backed by a nature reserve.The school is managed by a College of Teachers. The contact and coordination person is the College Chair, Mrs Robyn Brake.
